Seahawks' Tariq Woolen: PUP bound
Woolen (knee) was placed on the Seahawks' active/PUP list Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters in early June that he expected Woolen to be ready for camp, but as of now he still needs time to recover. The 2022 fifth-round selection had knee surgery in May to fix a cartilage issue that typically requires a four-to-six week recovery time, meaning his time on the PUP could be short. Woolen had a tremendous rookie season, recording 63 tackles, 16 pass breakups and six interceptions while finishing third in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting.

Seahawks' Tariq Woolen: Expected back for training camp
Head coach Pete Carroll noted Thursday that Woolen (knee) is expected to be back for training camp, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.
Woolen is coming off a productive rookie season with 63 tackles, six interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a defensive touchdown in 17 games. He underwent a knee procedure in May to repair a cartilage issue and at this stage is on track to be able to participate in training camp.

Seahawks' Tariq Woolen: Expected back in 4-to-6 weeks
Woolen (knee) is expected to return to practice in 4-to-6 weeks, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Woolen is recovering from a knee procedure, which he underwent to repair a cartilage issue. Even if he comes back on the long end of the timetable, he'll still have ample time to get ready for the 2023 campaign. The cornerback had a very impressive rookie season in 2022, recording 63 tackles, 16 pass deflections, six interceptions and two fumble recoveries while scoring also scoring a defensive touchdown.

Seahawks' Tariq Woolen: Undergoes minor procedure
Woolen underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined until training camp, Adam Schefter and Brady Henderson of ESPN.com report.
Woolen was selected by Seattle in the fifth round last year, and his six interceptions as a rookie tied for the league lead. The injury occurred while he was walking onto the practice field during OTAs last week, and while he currently doesn't seem to be in danger of missing the start of the 2023 season, the Seahawks will presumably be extremely cautious with their star youngster. In an effort to add some depth following Woolen's injury, Seattle re-signed Artie Burns to a one-year deal.
