Coach Mike Vrabel said Thursday that Farley (back) continues to make progress and is lifting weights, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.
The 22nd overall pick in the 2021 Draft, Farley has appeared in just 12 games since entering the league, missing 22 to injuries. His 2022 campaign ended in Week 10 when Farley needed surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back. Initially expected to be ready for the offseason program, Farley seems to be making headway in his recovery but wasn't on the field for OTAs or minicamp.

Titans' Caleb Farley: Undergoes back procedure
Farley underwent a microdiscectomy on his back Thursday to address a herniated disk, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Farley has been on injured reserve since Nov. 15 and will not play again this year, although he is expected to be ready for the start of the Titans' offseason training program. John Glennon of SI.com notes that this is Farley's third back surgery since the start of his college career, as he previously underwent microdiscectomy's for an injured L5 disc and a bulged S1 disc. The second-year pro has played just 12 games since being selected in the first round of the 2021 Draft. With his season officially over, he'll now work to be ready for next season.

Titans' Caleb Farley: May have season-ending injury
Farley will likely undergo season-ending surgery after suffering what appears to be a herniated disc during Sunday's 17-10 win over the Broncos, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Farley was expected to undergo further testing after injuring his back on a punt return during the third quarter Sunday, and these results appear to have revealed the worst-case scenario for the 2021 first-round pick. The cornerback previously underwent a microdiscectomy for an injured L5 disc and bulged S1 disc in his back ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft, though it's unclear if this new injury is related to these prior issues. While Farley has not logged a defensive snap since Week 5 against Washington, his absence could leave Tennessee's secondary with a severe lack of depth after cornerbacks Kristian Fulton (hamstring) and Elijah Molden (groin) were both forced out with injuries Sunday.

Farley did not log a defensive statistic before exiting at some point during the second half, and his absence will leave the Titans' already depleted secondary even more under-manned. With Kristian Fulton (hamstring) inactive and Elijah Molden (groin) also forced out, expect Terrance Mitchell and Tre Avery to step up into bigger roles for the remainder of the fourth quarter. Farley will now have a short four-day turnaround to recover before Thursday's game against the Packers.
