  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Lands on PUP list

Farley (back) will begin training camp on the Titans' active/PUP list, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Farley's 2022 campaign came to a close in Week 10 when he underwent surgery to repair a herniated disk in his back. He's made progress in the offseason but was held out of OTAs and minicamp while rehabbing. The 2021 first-round pick out of Virginia Tech has played in just 12 games in his two-year career.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Making progress from back surgery

Coach Mike Vrabel said Thursday that Farley (back) continues to make progress and is lifting weights, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official website reports.

The 22nd overall pick in the 2021 Draft, Farley has appeared in just 12 games since entering the league, missing 22 to injuries. His 2022 campaign ended in Week 10 when Farley needed surgery to repair a herniated disc in his back. Initially expected to be ready for the offseason program, Farley seems to be making headway in his recovery but wasn't on the field for OTAs or minicamp.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Undergoes back procedure

Farley underwent a microdiscectomy on his back Thursday to address a herniated disk, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Farley has been on injured reserve since Nov. 15 and will not play again this year, although he is expected to be ready for the start of the Titans' offseason training program. John Glennon of SI.com notes that this is Farley's third back surgery since the start of his college career, as he previously underwent microdiscectomy's for an injured L5 disc and a bulged S1 disc. The second-year pro has played just 12 games since being selected in the first round of the 2021 Draft. With his season officially over, he'll now work to be ready for next season.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: May have season-ending injury

Farley will likely undergo season-ending surgery after suffering what appears to be a herniated disc during Sunday's 17-10 win over the Broncos, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Farley was expected to undergo further testing after injuring his back on a punt return during the third quarter Sunday, and these results appear to have revealed the worst-case scenario for the 2021 first-round pick. The cornerback previously underwent a microdiscectomy for an injured L5 disc and bulged S1 disc in his back ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft, though it's unclear if this new injury is related to these prior issues. While Farley has not logged a defensive snap since Week 5 against Washington, his absence could leave Tennessee's secondary with a severe lack of depth after cornerbacks Kristian Fulton (hamstring) and Elijah Molden (groin) were both forced out with injuries Sunday.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Heads to IR

Farley (back) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Farley suffered the injury in Sunday's win over the Broncos and is expected to undergo season-ending surgery, for what is believed to be a herniated disc. The absence of the 2021 first-round selection will certainly be blow to the Titans' depth in their secondary, as Kristian Fulton (hamstring), Elijah Molden (groin) and Roger McCreary (calf) are all currently dealing with injuries and are questionable for Thursday's game against the Packers.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Undergoing further testing

Farley (back) is believed to be dealing with a disc injury, but he'll undergo further testing to determine the severity of the issue, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Farley left Sunday's matchup against the Broncos in the second half and may be forced to miss additional time due to a back injury. More information will likely be available later in the week.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Forced out Sunday

Farley (back) was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game versus the Broncos, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.

Farley did not log a defensive statistic before exiting at some point during the second half, and his absence will leave the Titans' already depleted secondary even more under-manned. With Kristian Fulton (hamstring) inactive and Elijah Molden (groin) also forced out, expect Terrance Mitchell and Tre Avery to step up into bigger roles for the remainder of the fourth quarter. Farley will now have a short four-day turnaround to recover before Thursday's game against the Packers.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Active in Week 5

Farley (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Farley popped up on the injury report Thursday with a knee issue. Despite not being able to practice in any capacity Friday, he'll suit up against the Commanders and will likely fill a role on both defense and special teams.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Practices without knee brace

Farley (knee) began Wednesday's practice with a knee brace but ultimately participated without it, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Farley suffered a torn ACL in mid-October and was unable to participate in any offseason activities as a result. However, his ability to practice to start training camp is big news for a Titans defense that will be relying upon several talented -- but young -- outside corners.

  • Titans' Caleb Farley: Remains without timetable

Farley (knee) is still without a timetable for his return to practice, Joe Rexrode of The Athletic reports.

Farley suffered a torn ACL in mid-October and he is still working his way back from the injury. On the bright side, his back is a non-issue, putting to rest concerns over the herniated disk he had surgery on prior to being selected in the first round of the 2021 Draft.
