    Kupari, who was a restricted free agent, signed a two-year, $2 million deal with the Jets on Wednesday.

    Kupari was acquired from LA on June 27 as part of the deal that sent Pierre-Luc Dubois to the Kings. Kupari had three goals, 15 points and 80 hits in 66 outings last season. The 23-year-old is likely to open the 2023-24 campaign on Winnipeg's fourth line.

    Ducks' Troy Terry: Inks seven-year deal

    Terry agreed Wednesday with Anaheim on a seven-year contract.

    The Ducks didn't release the financial terms of the deal, but it's reportedly worth $7 million annually, per Eric Stephens of The Athletic. Terry will be getting a huge pay raise after he recently completed a three-year, $4.35 million contract before becoming a restricted free agent this summer. Terry broke out in 2021-22 with 37 goals and 67 points in 75 contests, then followed up with 23 markers and 61 points in 70 games in 2022-23. The 25-year-old should continue to be a key offensive force for the Ducks for the duration of his new contract.

  • Ducks' Isac Lundestrom: Suffers Achilles injury

    Lundestrom sustained an Achilles injury while training in Sweden and has undergone surgery, according to Derek Lee of The Sporting Tribune.

    Lundestrom is projected to be out for around six months, which would translate to him missing the entirety of the Ducks' schedule before the All-Star Game. He had four goals and 14 points in 61 contests with Anaheim last season. Once Lundestrom is ready to rock, he'll likely serve in a bottom-six role.

    Penguins' Drew O'Connor: Inks two-year deal

    O'Connor agreed to terms on a two-year. $1.85 million contract with Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

    O'Connor logged 46 games for the Pens last season in which he recorded five goals on 62 shots, six assists and 63 hits while averaging 9:49 of ice time. With his new contract in hand, O'Connor should be in contention for regular appearances in the lineup, likely in a bottom-six role, where he should be capable of reaching the 20-point threshold.

    Oilers' Ryan McLeod: Inks two-year contract

    McLeod agreed to a two-year, $4.2 million contract with the Oilers on Tuesday, Ryan Rishaug of TSN reports.

    McLeod and the Oilers were still on the docket for arbitration before reaching the agreement. This new deal rewards McLeod with a sizable raise, though his role is unlikely to change from that of a middle-six center. He'll likely spend most of his time on the third line, though he occasionally worked on the second line in 2022-23. McLeod had 23 points in 57 contests last season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Receives one-year contract

    Swayman was awarded a one-year, $3.475 million contract with Boston on Tuesday by an independent arbitrator, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

    Swayman posted a 24-6-4 record last season with four shutouts, a 2.27 GAA and a .920 save percentage over 37 appearances. He shared the crease with 2023 Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark, which will likely be the case again next campaign. The goaltending duo of the Bruins won the William M. Jennings Trophy after allowing a league-low 177 goals against during the 2022-23 regular season.

    Frederic inked a two-year, $4.6 million contract with Boston on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

    Frederic and the Bruins were able to come to terms on a new agreement prior to Tuesday's arbitration hearing. Frederic accounted for 17 goals, 31 points, 120 shots on net and 105 hits over 79 games last season. He is slated to line up as a bottom-six forward during the 2023-24 campaign.

  • Rangers' Brandon Scanlin: Agrees to one-year deal

    Scanlin agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Rangers on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

    Scanlin and the Rangers had an arbitration hearing scheduled for Friday, but now that won't be necessary. The 24-year-old defenseman contributed four goals and 15 points in 61 games for AHL Hartford last season. Scanlin will likely begin the 2023-24 campaign in the minors.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Signs three-year deal

    Gustavsson signed a three-year, $11.25 million contract with Minnesota on Monday.

    Gustavsson and the Wild had an arbitration hearing scheduled for Friday, which now won't be necessary. The 25-year-old netminder posted a 22-9-7 record last season with three shutouts, a 2.10 GAA and a .931 save percentage in 39 appearances. Gustavsson is projected to be Minnesota's No. 1 goalie going into the 2023-24 campaign, but he could face some competition from Marc-Andre Fleury for starts.

  • Maple Leafs' Nick Abruzzese: Agrees to two-year contract

    Abruzzese agreed to a two-year, two-way contract with Toronto on Monday.

    Abruzzese produced 16 goals and 48 points in 69 regular-season games for AHL Toronto last season. He also added two goals and five assists in seven outings during the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs. Additionally, Abruzzese had two assists in two NHL outings with the Maple Leafs during the 2022-23 campaign. The 24-year-old forward will likely begin the 2023-24 season in the minors.
