Ylonen signed a one-year, two-way contract with Montreal on Monday.
Ylonen contributed six goals and 16 points in 37 appearances with the Canadiens last season. He also posted 11 goals and 21 assists over 39 contests for AHL Laval during the 2022-23 campaign. Ylonen could end up splitting time between the NHL and AHL again in 2023-24.
