  • Ravens' Rock Ya-Sin: Avoids serious injury

Ya-Sin didn't tear anything in his knee following his MRI on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Ya-Sin had to leave Ravens camp after suffering a knee injury during 1-on-1 drills Wednesday. There is no structural damage to his knee according to the MRI results, however, the fifth-year cornerback is still dealing with pain and will miss some time. The timetable for the 27-year-old's injury remains unknown, but expect him to slide back into a starting role once he's returned to full health.

  • Ravens' J.K. Dobbins: No timetable for return

Head coach John Harbaugh spoke with Dobbins (undisclosed) on Tuesday, but at this point there's no timetable for the running back's return to practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com relays that in terms of Dobbins' continued absence, Harbaugh acknowledged that "there comes a point in time when it does become a concern." In addition to dealing with an unspecified injury, Dobbins has expressed frustration with his contract situation, not an uncommon theme these days among some of his fellow NFL running backs. As long as Dobbins remains unavailable, Gus Edwards, Justice Hill and Melvin Gordon are on hand to absorb Baltimore's backfield duties.

  • Ravens' Rock Ya-Sin: Dealing with injury

Ya-Sin (undisclosed) left camp Wednesday with an apparent injury, Morgan Adsit of Fox Baltimore reports.

Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters after practice that Ya-Sin's injury is not believed to be serious but also didn't specify what the injury is. Baltimore will put the veteran corner through more testing this week, but it seems as if the injury won't hold him out for long. The 27-year-old signed a one-year deal worth up to $6 million with the Ravens this offseason, and once he's back to full health, expect him to start at corner ahead of the coming season.

  • Ravens' Zay Flowers: Making case for starting job

Flowers has made a strong case for a starting job during training camp while fellow wide receiver Rashod Bateman (foot) has remained absent from practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com reports.

Bateman has been on the active/PUP list for over a week now, and while that doesn't necessarily mean he won't be ready for the start of the regular season, it at least creates some concern that he won't be at his best early on. That wouldn't be at all atypical for a wideout coming back from a season-ending Lisfranc injury, though the Ravens were optimistic about the 2021 first-round pick earlier this offseason. With some of that optimism perhaps waning, the team's 2023 first-round selection (Flowers) has stepped up alongside Odell Beckham to form a solid duo for Lamar Jackson in practice. The Ravens have two other wideouts with considerable NFL starting experience, Nelson Agholor and Devin Duvernay, but in terms of likely fantasy contributors with potential for considerable target volume, it's probably a three-way race between Flowers, Beckham and Bateman. So far, Beckham and Flowers are winning that race, both delivering strong showings in training camp while Bateman lingers on the PUP list.

  • Ravens' Geno Stone: Absent from practice

Stone (ankle) was the only Raven not at camp Tuesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.

Stone tweaked his ankle Monday and left practice, leading to him not participating in camp Tuesday. The 2020 seventh-round pick appeared in all 17 games for the Ravens last year and tallied 38 tackles, one pass breakup and one forced fumble. Once he's healthy, the 24-year-old will compete for a backup safety role ahead of the coming season.

  • Ravens' Geno Stone: Leaves practice

Stone left practice Monday with a left leg injury, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh said after practice that he needed to find out more about the injury. The safety played in all 17 games (including seven starts) last season and recorded 38 tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in that span. Stone is competing for a reserve safety role for 2023.

  • Ravens' Damarion Williams: Ready to compete

Williams (undisclosed) was activated from the active/PUP list Monday, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

Williams will now be able to practice with his team for the first time during training camp. The second-year pro is expected to compete for the nickel job in Baltimore's secondary.
