Coach Sean Payton confirmed Tuesday that Patrick sustained a torn Achilles on Monday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
The 29-year-old wideout will miss a second consecutive season after an ACL tear last summer wiped out his 2022 campaign. Patrick will try to make it back next year for the final season of the three-year, $30 million contract extension he signed in 2021.

An MRI reportedly revealed that Patrick suffered a complete tear of his Achilles on Monday, according to Mike Klis of 9News Denver.
Assuming Klis' report is confirmed, Patrick would be in line to miss the coming season, a context that represents a major hit to a Denver pass-catching corps that will also be without KJ Hamler (pectoral), who was waived with a non-football illness designation Monday. The duo's looming absence paves the way for 2023 second-rounder Marvin Mims to assume an expanded role alongside the team's top wideouts, Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.

Patrick likely sustained a torn left Achilles during Monday's practice, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
At nearly the same point of the training-camp schedule last year, Patrick tore the ACL in his right knee, which required surgery shortly thereafter. He was able to run routes by the spring and participate in team drills during mandatory minicamp in June, but the injury bug bit him again Monday, when he was carted off the field following a non-contact injury. With Patrick poised to miss a second straight season, the Broncos will turn to some combination of KJ Hamler (pectoral), Marvin Mims (hamstring), Marquez Callaway and Kendall Hinton behind the top WR duo of Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton.

Patrick is being evaluated for a left Achilles injury and is scheduled to get an MRI after exiting practice Monday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Patrick was carted off after suffering a non-contact injury Monday and needed crutches to get around the facility. Initial testing revealed an Achilles injury, and the MRI results should determine its severity. This could be the second straight year that Patrick has suffered a significant injury in training camp, as he missed the entire 2022 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee.

Broncos' Tim Patrick: Carted off after non-contact injury
Patrick suffered a non-contact injury to his lower left leg in practice Monday and was carted off the field, James Palmer of NFL Network reports.
Patrick had been a full participant in team drills after having recently worked his way back from a torn ACL in his right knee that cost him the entire 2022 season. The wide receiver has sustained yet another injury early in training camp, but it's too early to determine the exact nature or severity of this injury, which isn't in the same leg as his previous one. Per Palmer, Patrick needed crutches to enter the facility after Monday's injury.

Broncos' Tim Patrick: Participated in team drills at OTAs
Patrick (knee) participated in full team drills at OTAs and minicamp, The Athletic's Nick Kosmider reports.
Patrick tore his ACL early in training camp last year and missed the entirety of the 2022 season. He now seems to be at, or near, 100 percent and should continue to be full go ahead for camp next month. Patrick is expected to be a fixture in three-wide sets for the Broncos alongside Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy. Patrick and Russell Wilson had developed a noticeable chemistry last offseason prior to the receiver's season-ending injury. It will be interesting to see how targets are distributed this year.
