Raiders' Byron Young: Opens camp on PUP list
Young (undisclosed) was placed on the active/PUP list by the Raiders on Friday, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Young will begin camp on the sideline as he nurses an undisclosed injury, but he'll be eligible to return to practice at any point in the coming weeks. Las Vegas kicks off its preseason with a matchup at home with San Francisco on Aug. 13.

Raiders' Byron Young: Headed west to Las Vegas
The Raiders selected Young in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 70th overall.
Not to be confused with the notable Tennessee edge rusher of the same name in the 2023 Draft, this Byron Young is a defensive tackle from Alabama. Young is no more than average as an athlete at 6-foot-3, 294 pounds, but he was a leading contributor on a strong Alabama run defense.

Rams' Byron Young: Scooped by Los Angeles
The Rams selected Young in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, 77th overall.
Undersized but athletic, Young profiles as a rotational pass rusher at outside linebacker for the Rams. Young (6-foot-2, 250 pounds) had a 4.43 40-yard dash at the combine and racked up 12.5 sacks in two seasons at Tennessee.
